In 2002 she was awarded for her work with the Silver Medal “Arts Sciences and Letters” the highest honor given to an artist in France by the Academy of Arts founded in 1905.
During 1999-2000 the exhibition traveled to the United States universities including: Virginia University, VA, Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. and Keystone College in La Plumme, PA.
For about 25 years Ana C. Traversa continues to collaborate voluntarily with her art in New York and the five neighborhoods surrounding the city.
Ana Traversa has exhibited her art (for over 30 years) in museums such as private and public organizations in different countries, nongovernmental and nonprofit organizations.
She has also collaborated wholeheartedly with the public and private education, volunteering with organizations dedicated to art and healing, in hospitals, organizations dedicated to treating AIDS/HIV and other entities.
