Summary
  1. Specimen book of the Derriey Foundry, produced for the Great London Exhibition of 1862, and described by Bigmore and Wyman in their Bibliography of printing (London: Bernard Quaritch, 1880-1886) as "one of the most beautiful works ever issued." The album is arranged in eight sections: vignettes, decorative type, pen flourishes, cartouches, ornaments, rules, music, and commercial papers; each section has a decorative title page printed in colors and gold. More than 30 leaves are printed in multiple colors.
