  1. The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is probably one of the items added to the collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian; & Arthur A. Schomburg, Curator. It includes NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," NYPL's perforated stamp, the circle stamp, and early processing marking of the original collection. It may have been treated and rebound in navy blue cloth over boards library binding with additional blank pages at the back; and a gilt spine title.
