Views of Massachusetts: men with cannon, one holding a horn, body of water beyond; general view from "Half Moon Hill"; street scenes, including homes, a large building and stables, delivery wagon in fornt of building with cirucular stairs winding around one of the columns on front, a buggy parked near bridge; a frozen waterfall; the Plimpton [hotel]; a [roller] skating rink; an Atheneum; interior view of ceremonial room, with three chairs on a dias with curtains above them; statue of Reynolds, another statue, a civil war monument; unidentified industrial buildings on a river; a covered bridge and a loom shuttle manufacturer; group portrait at a camp meeting, tents beyond; building destroyed by fire or explosion and on the verso a view of a young man in a double breasted suit in front of a 1930s automobile; long sheds and tall chimneys at a salt works; churches, including an interior view showing an organ; homes; a three story gabled clapboard building; entrance to Fern Park, including rustic benches and a tower over "Ivy Gate"; sheep in pens and on ramp leading into building; an aqueduct or a bridge; coastal views including beaches, rocky shorelines and harbors with ships.
