- Designed and engraved by Moreau le jeune.
- An engraving commemorating a ball given by the "king and queen" of the city of Paris, January 23, 1782, in honor of the Dauphin and Marie Antoinette.
- Dancers, some masked and in commedia dell'arte attire, mill about, probably in the great ballroom of the Hotel de Ville, Paris. Musicians play on a raised platform in the background and guests look down from a balcony.
