Each excerpt illustrates a specific character (Satria, Satria Gagahan, or Ménak Djingga) performing Lejepan (soft), Monggawa (refined), or Gagahan (strong). The performing movements demonstrate Adeg-adeg (standing), Lontag buka (wide open hand, Langkah (walking), Gedig (hard walking), Djangkung Ilo, and Tindah Tilu (three steps).
