- Anne Belle, producer of the film Reflections of a dancer. Alexandra Danilova, prima ballerina assoluta, and Joseph Wishy, producer of A portrait of Giselle, talk about their experiences in making these documentaries. Two excerpts from Reflections of a dancer depict Frederic Franklin's reminiscences of his partnership with Danilova, and footage of Danilova rehearsing students of the School of American Ballet in preparation for a workshop performance. An excerpt from A portrait of Giselle (b&w and color) depicts the Act I mad scene as performed by Alicia Markova, Alicia Alonso, Galina Ulanova, and Carla Fracci, concluding with footage of Anton Dolin coaching Patricia McBride; Fracci and Natalia Makarova are also glimpsed in interviews. In Esoterica balletica, Betty Low discusses the premiere of Vaslav Nijinsky's L'après-midi d'un faune.
