Summary
Letitia Ide, who now coaches dancers in the works of Doris Humphrey and José Limón, looks back at her early career as a dancer in the Humphrey-Weidman Company. She recalls dancing with Limón in Lysistrata, with Marilyn Miller in the Broadway show As thousands cheer (choreographed by Charles Weidman), and appearing in the premieres of Limón's The exiles and Humphrey's Day on earth. She also shares some observations of dancers and choreographers today.
