  1. Dance contents: Numerous scenes of social dancing, set at parties, on the street, in the subway, and at the Roxy, a New York club. The Roxy is also the site of an extended break dancing competition; a shorter competitive dance, with acrobatics and fighting movements, takes place in a subway station. Students at CCNY are shown in rehearsals and a performance of theatrical dancing. Performances of dance and music also take place at a Christmas party and a memorial.
