Summary

1. Interview with dancer-choreographer DD Dorvillier, interspersed with performance excerpts from her work Meatallaround: the ballad of the drunken bull, presented at P.S. 122 on January 21, 1996. Dorvillier describes the making of the work, which grew out of her recent works inspired by animals ; her movement training, which included dance studies in Puerto Rico and the U.S., karate, and Skinner releasing technique ; and her artistic growth at P.S. 122, which she regards as a "home away from home."
