Summary

1. Three very brief clips, possibly from newsreels, depicting Katherine Dunham and members of her company. The first, with voiceover in French, shows Dunham in an outdoor setting, first performing a brief dance, then donning eyeglasses to consult books. In the second, with voiceover in Spanish, Dunham and members of her company entertain at a banquet, performing various dances from her repertory. The third segment is silent, and may have been filmed at a beauty contest, with Dunham among a line of well-dressed women and men, and a young woman in a bathing suit.
