Drama inspired by the experiences of Dein Perry, founder of the all-male tap dance group Tap Dogs. After various setbacks Sean, a young Australian steelworker, forms his own tap dance group. The film includes numerous scenes of tap dancing, many of them in the industrial settings favored by Tap Dogs. Dein Perry himself appears in this film as the star of a more conventional tap show.
