Summary
  1. Rudolf Nureyev dances the title roles in two ballets originally danced and/or choreographed by Vaslav Nijinsky. These recordings were originally telecast by WNET/Thirteen in March 1981 on the Dance in America series as part of a program titled In tribute to Nijinsky (which also included a performance of Michel Fokine's Petrouchka). In this program by the BBC, the ballets are introduced by Christopher Gable, a former principal dancer of the Royal Ballet.
