Summary

1. This program was presented to celebrate Liz Thompson's tenth anniversary as director of Jacob's Pillow. Marge Champion introduces Liz Lerman, who presents improvisational and choreographed works with members of her company and senior citizens from the local area. Guest artist Jawole Willa Jo Zollar performs an improvisational piece called Working for free. In the second part of the program, a series of speakers offer tributes to Thompson, and a slide show displays images taken by Stephen Driscoll at Jacob's Pillow during her tenure. Jess Meeker performs an excerpt from Dance of the ages, and members of the Off-Center Ballet perform a pièce d'occasion choreographed by Christopher D'Amboise and titled Liz the wiz.
