1. Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet master Bart Cook, directs a stage rehearsal of Gershwin concerto, beginning with a full run-through and including additional rehearsal of excerpts from the ballet. Dancers rehearse a pas de deux from Symphony in C while stage crew works on the backdrop for Gershwin concerto. Robbins discusses lighting, costume and backdrop with crew and dancers.
