Summary

1. Workshop rehearsals of Robert Wilson's production of Alice at the Thalia Theater. Edited footage assembled from rehearsals held between February 11 and March 6, 1992. Focuses on Wilson's choreography and direction process. Wilson explains his philosophy and approach to Alice. Works individually with actors and dancers, showing them what he wants.
2. Alice is based on Alice's adventures in Wonderland and Through the looking-glass by Lewis Carroll.
