Summary
  1. Documentary from Japan about the closing of the Broadway musical A chorus line, conceived and directed by Michael Bennett and produced by Joseph Papp and the New York Shakespeare Festival. The musical closed on April 28, 1990 in a final gala 6137th performance featuring members of the show's various casts assembled from its fifteen year history. The focus is primarily on the cast, who are interviewed and profiled as they go about their activities in the days leading up to the final performance. Broadway cast members Donna McKechnie, Sammy Williams, Kay Cole, Baayork Lee, Priscilla Lopez and Laurie Gamache are among those interviewed, as is producer Joseph Papp.
