Summary
  1. This documentary explores the career of Lucinda Childs through interviews with Childs, some conducted at her home on Martha's Vineyard, comments from colleagues and critics, and footage of rehearsals and performances of Childs's choreography. Focusing on the development and innnovations of Childs's work, the film examines the influence of Merce Cunningham on Childs's early choreography; her involvement with the Judson Chuch movement; her minimalist style; her collaborations with Robert Wilson, Philip Glass and Sol Le Witt; the staging and restaging of her works for ballet companies in Europe.
