Haimes describes the challenge of balancing a variety of plays when planning a season, speaks of the Great American Musical series, and reminisces about working with Natasha Richardson and director Sam Mendes on the revival of Cabaret. He also discusses the acquisitions of the American Airlines Theatre, Studio 54, and the Henry Miller Theatre. Haimes highlights Roundabout's education program, and how the company uses its Black Box Theater to provide young American playwrights with opportunities to present their work in New York.
