Summary
  1. This program focuses on the new choreographic work by Karole Armitage entitled, Made in Naples. Live performance excerpts of Made in Naples along with slides of Giambattista Tiepelo drawings, scenes of Naples, and paintings by Jacques Callot of Balli di Sfessania are interspersed with panel discussions featuring Karole Armitage, Alba Clemente, and Renato Quaglia. The panelists discuss the Napoli Teatro Festival Italia, the general atmosphere of Naples, analysis and history of Pulcinella in Naples, how the costumes were created using Giambattista Tiepolo's drawings, and a demonstration of Neapolitan gestures used in this choreographic work.
