Summary
  1. This documentary follows the preparations for a concert performance of composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim's 1971 musical "Follies". Ranging from the rehearsal rooms to backstage at the two sold-out performances, it concludes with musical excerpts from the concert. The concerts were produced by Thomas Z. Shepard & directed by Herbert Ross, at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, New York City.
