This program, one of a series of programs concerning producer Cheryl Crawford, is devoted to three stage shows she produced featuring music by Kurt Weill: Johnny Johnson (1936), One touch of Venus (1943), and Love life (1948). Songs are performed from each musical. Host Foster Hirsch discusses the shows and interviews several of the performers, some of whom appeared in the original productions and knew Weill personally.
