- Clipping and miscellaneous material about Amin, Idi Dada; president, foreign military officer. Lieutenant colonel and commanding officer of First Battalion, Uganda Army (1964); promoted to major general (1968); led a coup d’eÌtat, proclaimed himself president and appointed a council of ministers; Chair of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) (1975); contrived a proclamation making him "President for Life" (1976); fled to Libya and received asylum until (1979); later moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; died 16 August 2003 in Saudi Arabia.
