- Isidore Isou’s first book, which Gallimard at first rejected, immediately after Isou’s arrival in Paris, but which the firm soon thereafter accepted , as he became notorious for disrupting and denouncing events that honored other writers and artists.
- Contains Isou’s manifesto of Lettrist poetry; the latter portion is printed on coated paper and prints a number of visual and sound poems, including the text of “Cris pour 5,000,000 de Juifs Egorges,” his renowned poem about the Holocaust.
