Summary

1. Playwright and librettist Joseph Stein discusses his career with Lin-Manuel Miranda. He begins with his early days as a radio comedy writer and for TV's Your show of shows, then focuses on his work as a librettist in musical theater, including such works as Fiddler on the roof, Plain and fancy, Mr. Wonderful with Sammy Davis, Jr., Zorba, and Rags. He also discusses his play Enter laughing, which was turned into a musical and retitled So long, 174th Street.
