Summary
  1. Promotional program devoted to Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical Sunset Boulevard, based on Billy Wilder's 1950 film, broadcast to coincide with its Broadway premiere. The program traces the history of the film, complete with numerous excerpts, then examines the adaptation of the material to the musical stage by Lloyd Webber and his collaborators. Several members of the cast and crew are interviewed, as well as a number of individuals associated with the worlds of Hollywood and Broadway.
  2. Also included, a separately taped review of the show delivered by critic Stewart Klein.
