Summary

1. Panel discussion exploring the varied collaborative relationships between playwrights, director, and choreographers. Directors explore some of the differences between producing plays written by deceased authors, such as Anton Chekov or Noel Coward, and living authors who take an active part in the process. Choreographer Wayne Cilento discusses how the tasks of choreographers and directors of musicals can overlap. The audition process is examined, along with related matters. Panelists also take questions from the audience.
