Summary

1. Panel discussion on the role of unions and guilds of professional employees involved in Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional theater. Representatives from the Dramatists Guild, Actors Equity, and the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers discuss their organizations, how they were formed, how they are beneficial to their members, and related topics. They also discuss the Broadway Alliance, a group formed to help bring more non-musical plays to Broadway. Panelists take questions from members of the audience.
