- Summary
- Originally, this play was a solo performance piece. Actor/playwright Anna Deavere Smith portrayed a number of persons she had interviewed in the wake of the civil unrest in Los Angeles, which followed the April 1992 verdict in the trial of four police officers accused of beating motorist Rodney King. Smith revised the material for this production, which features five actors.
