- Summary
- FBI agents Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) work to uncover the truth behind unsolved cases that defy normal investigation - cases the government has buried or ignored, labeling them "X-files." In the "Pilot" episode, Mulder and Scully investigate the deaths of four young teenagers who disappeared in the woods outside a small Oregon town. Scully finds her new partner lives up to his reputation for the bizarre, and his nickname "Spooky," when he theorizes alien involvement. In "Deep throat," the wife of a missing U.S. military test pilot asks the FBI to investigate his disappearance at an Air Force base where unidentified flying objects are frequently sighted.
