1. Textbook comprising case studies on labour market trends (1970- 1980) in Australia - explores empirically how important wages and non- pay adjustments have been to labour supply and labour demand have been in a number of selected occupations, notably the police, skilled worker metalworkers, lawyers, engineers and other academic professional workers, managers, office workers of the public service, etc., and concludes that Australian labour markets are rather flexible in adapting pay, promotion, hours of work and labour mobility.
