Melrose Library has reopened to the public after a large-scale renovation as part of NYPL’s Carnegie Renovation Program. Patrons can now visit the library to check out materials, use computers, and connect with staff. Our upgraded building is fully accessible and includes new, dedicated programming spaces and areas for adults, children, and teens; new collection materials; new computers and other technology upgrades; and more. Welcome back!

Located within walking distance of Yankee Stadium and the borough's thriving court system, this air-conditioned library occupies almost 10,000 square feet and has separate reading rooms for children and adults.
